Find a tool to use (string, dental floss, headphone cord, measuring tape if you have it).
Find the length by wrapping it around your neck and marking it (for pendants, imagine the jewelry lower, for suspended, it should be in line).
Check the length against a ruler or lay it out flat and measure with a phone app.

Alternatively: Measure an existing necklace end to end with a ruler (most accurate) or a phone app (great if you don’t have a ruler handy).

For both gold and silver pearl jewelry, keep pearls away from harsh cleansers and chemicals, remove before rigorous activities, avoid high temperatures and wear them often. It really depends on how you’d like it to fall on your neckline. We recommend the 15-17” if you’d like it to drape along your collarbone, and a 17-19” if you’d prefer something a tad longer (or want to layer this piece with other necklaces!). We offer custom lengths, too, if you prefer something shorter like a choker or a longer layering piece.
