Abalone Canyon Bolo

Inspired by Aly & AJ’s iconic take on Americana style. Set with a natural abalone and the tiniest gemstone, like a star in the desert sky.

 

No two abalones are exactly alike, and colors range from green to blue to neutral taupes and golds. Your piece may not look exactly like the photos, as this natural material varies wildly (which is what makes it so unique)!

Solid, precious metal that lasts forever. It darkens with time, but can be polished up. Oils from your skin help prevent silver tarnish... so wear it often!

More premium than traditional gold plating, vermeil is an extra thick layer of real gold over solid sterling silver. We use 14k or 18k gold depending on the piece.

How do I care for this piece of jewelry?

Is this bolo necklace adjustable?

It is! Just slide the worry stone pendant gently to adjust, taking care not to bend the chain too sharply.

Is this Aly & AJ Bolo Necklace adjustable?

This bolo-style necklace is not adjustable, but hangs at the perfect length to stack with other pieces and wear with a variety of outfits.

What is abalone? How do I care for it?

Abalone is an iridescent layer of a seashell, much like mother of pearl. We use farm-raised abalone in our Aly & AJ pieces for sustainability! To care for abalone, avoid harsh chemicals and soaking the piece in water; we recommend removing before showering or swimming to maintain its delicate shine. To clean, gently wipe with a soft cloth.

    Growing up in southern California I loved abalone and walking the beach and finding shells in the rocks. This necklace brings me back and I love it. It is Beautiful and it lays perfectly. I forget I have it on and I accidently slept in it with no problems!
